The art of standing apart

The unique and valuable savoir-faire passed down through the generations since the 19th century makes Ercuis one of France’s greatest silversmiths. Each part of a piece of cutlery is prepared separately before assembly by the silversmith. The decorative elements are cast in bronze or silver by the founder, from molds that come from an original model engraved and chiseled by the engraver. They are then entirely taken back by hand by the chiseller who reworks all the details of the engraving in order to give them back nervousness and relief. All the assembly methods is executed with great care to be both solid and invisible.

Louis XV

Born during the golden age of silversmithing in France, the Louis XV style, or "Rocaille", is one of the most imaginative in the history of decorative arts.

Escale Enchantée

These creations are inspired by the classics of French silversmithing, their lines have naturalist influences. They reproduce birds, flowers and plant motifs in an abundant style.

Régence

The emblematic piece of the Régence collection, a five-branch candelabra with six lights, is made of cast bronze and weighs five kilos. The chasing alone requires eight hours of work by hand.
