For this unique collection, Ercuis has drawn on the most technically accomplished and sophisticated expertise available. The flatware is lacquered in pure and extremely luminous colours before being engraved with one of eight guilloché patterns. It is then silver or gold plated and lastly assembled with great care in the silversmiths’ workshop.

Born during the golden age of silversmithing in France, the Louis XV style, or "Rocaille", is one of the most imaginative in the history of decorative arts. Over the centuries, it has become the most perfect incarnation of French taste.

The holloware pieces of the Régence collection appeared in the Ercuis catalog in 1903 and became classics of the know-how of its master goldsmiths.
