The Prestige collections gather emblematic pieces of the know-how of the master silversmiths and from the heritage of Ercuis. They are manufactured in our workshops, perpetuating the same gestures of excellence since 1867.

The French Régence style refers to the transitional period from 1715 to 1723 during which Philippe d'Orléans was Regent of France until Louis XV reached the age of reign. In the decorative arts, it was translated by a domination of fantasy and elegance, in rupture with the rigorous style that dominated under the end of the reign of Louis XIV. New ornamental motives appeared: the shell associated with other elements of nature, curved lines, more refined forms... and it was the golden age of the festoons. The holloware pieces of the Régence collection appeared in the Ercuis catalog in 1903 and became classics of the know-how of its master goldsmiths. The emblematic piece of the Régence collection, a five-branch candlestick with six lights, is made of cast bronze and weighs five kilos. The chasing alone requires eight hours of work by hand.
